Things your parents said to you when you were little

There are so many things that I say to my DD that have come straight from my mom. Which I swore I would never do. I have caught myself saying things like...

1. I don't care if your friend is allowed, I am not her mother.

2. Don't talk to me like I am one of your friends on the playground.

3. Don't you give me that look!

4. Who do you think you are?

I am waiting to use the...
"Don't make me pull this car over!"

What about you guys??????????

I can't wait for the infamous... "because I am the Mommy, and I said so, that's why"

Once when we were on a car trip, I guess I was whining that I was thirsty. Must have gotten on my Mom's nerves because she said "Then swallow your spit," and being an impressionable little kid, I tried to do it.

I hope I never use that on DS, but I'm sure I'll use the "who do you think you are?" or "Because I said so" or "ask your father" eventually!
