Things to do in NYC or on LI for the holidays

Every year for the holidays my sister, mom and I have a special day. Sometimes we go to a broadway show or a concert and do dinner.

Anyone know of any new shows or big concerts coming up around the holidays? Anyone else have any new ideas of something fun to do?
