The Office..."Stanley, are you dancing?"
I just want to start off by saying I adore this show, it brings me joy like no other show on tv.
BUT
An hour is just too long. I never thought Id say that. It's clear that, in the future, these will be half hour episodes that they trimmed down. Some things just seemed to drag.
That being said....
So many laughs to be had!!
-Stanley dancing at the website music!!
-Andy singing Abba to Angela?
-Oscar getting up and leaving the conference room saying "this is why I was called in??" (to see what he and all of the women thought of Michael's shirt)
-The computer talking to Dwight??
-Daryl flirting with Kelly?!?!
Fantastic!!
The kidnapping the pizza boy thing was dumb.. I hope they cut that part out when they make it a 30 minute episode.
Thoughts? Did you love?

Honestly, I love this show, but I don't know...somehow I feel a little disappointment in each of the shows.
This week there were many funny moments, some of which that you mentioned. The computer talking to Dwight was priceless. But we need to get back to more Michael inappropriate office antics, Jim really going after Dwight and I would like to have more Kelly being Kelly. I miss Angela and Dwight being together because I used to love it when she'd swoon over the stupid sh!t he'd do.
Last week, the look on Michael's face when he was in the lake holding on to the door...I still pee thinking about it.
I sort of agree about the hour long thing. I think a lot of it was filler, the writers are definitely not used to writing such a long show.

DH and I were eating dinner while watching the show...BAD IDEA.....I spit all my food out of my mouth when Meredith ask Jim to sign her cast...I could not stop laughing! And I loved Michael's shirt....he looked like such a loser! i love this show....but i have to admit....the 1/2 shows are so much better. I feel like they fill the show up with Crap to make it an hour long show...the whole kidnapping was stupid! I love it when andy sings! Hes AWESOME!

Hmm.. this one is tough.. I feel like there has been too MUCH Michael lately. I honestly think he is the least funny cast member on the show. Every move he makes has become completely predictable.
They did him with race, sexism, agism, religion, etc. I feel like there is nothing else for him to be inappropriate about!

YES! I can't stand the Michael-centric episodes. The kidnapping thing was so not funny.
Best part of last night was Jim and Pam messing with Dwight. I loved when Pam saw that Dwight was sad about Angela and IM'ed him to say that he was the superior being.
Ryan has really become a jerk.

I love the show, but agree that I think an hour is too long.
I love Daryl. I crack up everytime he is on (remember the episode when he was trying to help Michael get a raise?) They should put him on more.

I loved it with Phyllis was using "how to work with difficult people" tactics on Angela and they kept backfiring.

I TOTALLY agree!!! More Daryl!!! I like when he teaches Michael secret handshakes "from the 'hood"

I nearly died over the cast-signing too. And the talking computer was hilarious, especially when Jim is telling Pam what to write and he says he's looked up and learned everything there is to know about everything. And mastered the violin. I just about died.
I agree the hour seems a bit long. But it's still my fave show ever!

i LOVED the opening with the box on the TV screen... and how they all got up and walked out when the 'box in the corner mission' was accomplished 
and, i dont have a thing for andy or anything, but that song was SOOOO cute!

OMG!!! I totally forgot about the beginning wiht the box on the tv screen!! I guess with 59 more minutes of the episode I totally forgot!!

Honestly, I love this show, but I don't know...somehow I feel a little disappointment in each of the shows.
ITA. I just think they are trying too hard and it's too long. And I am finding that each character is acting a bit too different.
Still love it though, but it is not the same.
Michael is acting TOO nuts even for me.

OK, I love this show. It's my 100% favorite, but this season is lacking a lot. They barely show anything interesting with Pam and Jim anymore. They should show how their dating relationship developed, but they don't. A lot of the funnyness has been lacking between Michael and Dwight and Dwight and Jim and Jim and Pam. I hope it goes back to the way it was.

The hourlong episodes drag. So many funny gags, but it just gets to the point where you want to say "shouldn't this be over by now?" 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time for this show, IMO.
