The new issue of Consumer Reports rates interior paint
and Behr wins in every catergory: low luster, flat and semi gloss.
They also give it the "best buy" flag
ETA: they rate based on:
hiding
surface smoothness
staining
scrubbing
gloss change
sticking
mildew
fading

ETA: A friend of mine SWORE on BM paints...until she actually used them... She had to wipe the walls at one point and all the paint came off on the sponge...ummm...

2 years ago there tops picks were Valspar, BM & Pratt & Lambert....oh well guess its always changing  I can tell you I followed the rec and went Valspar for my den and hated it, needed 3 coats after a primer. No probs with BM at all......

Thankyou!! The contractor doing the work in our house said to def get BM but I know alot of pple here have used Behr and their paint looks great so I was wondering....
