Regarding the movie and the Royal Family...

DH and I had a long discussion about this Saturday night... We went to go see "The Queen" and it was VERY good but really made me think. I could not figure out, for the life of me, who they were trying to make out to be the "villain" (for lack of a better word) in that movie...

Meaning, were they trying to make Diana out to be completely innocent and the Queen to be "the mean, unfair lady" but then they were defending her actions in a way too-- meaning, that she was too traditional and didn't know any better...

They hinted back and fourth between how the Queen was unfair and then the family kept suggesting that Diana was very different in public than she was in private...

Any thoughts on this? Did anyone see the movie? I left thinking it was GREAT but not so sure who the director or writers felt was "the bad guy"... you know what I mean? Thoughts?
