The bad mommy rite of passage
I just closed his poor little fingers in a door.
I thought something was in the way, and actually pushed a little harder - ironically I was trying to close the door so he wouldn't play with it and get his fingers stuck.
the thing in the way was his hand - I put 2 and 2 together when the wail shortly followed 
Poor baby - it really hurt - he was screaming for a few minutes and not even mommy could help - only the upside down guys

today i think i pinched his little fingers when I buckled the car seat. Didn't even realize until he started to cry. Does that count too?

If it makes you feel any better, my mom closed my finger in the car door. And that was only about 6 months ago.  (I'm lucky I didn't loose the nail.)

Let's see....I have stepped on Taylor's bare foot, got her finger caught when I was trying to move the Fisher Price Laugh n Learn home, closed the toilet seat while her finger was on it and a few other things.....
She is still breathing and still loves me

Count me in too!!! On Monday I was at an audition and had to take DS with me. I was sitting in a room with about 200 other women and DS falls out of his stroller and bumps his head into the wall!!! In my hurry I had forgotten to strap him in!!! Oh, the looks I got. I felt not only horrible for hurting my child, but like everyone in that room thought I was a horrible mom.

Man that is the worst!! I did that a few months ago and OMG I felt so awful. She was screaming. I actually worried I broke her fingers. Thank goodness I didn't and she was OK after a few minutes.

When my DS was 3 we were playing on my sisters bed and he went to trow himself on me and missed. He fell off the bed and hit his head on the corner of the bed and it put a small tear on the back of his head. He needed 3 staples.
I felt like such a horrible mommy that day. He is 5 now and still loves me.
