The all day sickness

Is here... I am officially 6 weeks and for the last few days I have been really nauseous and extremely tired. Both are hard to deal with, especially since I already have a little one home with me who never takes a nap. I feel bad because I feel like I haven't been giving him enough attention, but I have just been feeling so sick. I haven't officially thrown up yet, (sorry tmi), but I have been VERY close to it. I just hate this feeling more than anything. I know everyone feels this way and I hate to complain, especially since i had a m/c in the past, but I just don't know how I am going to get through the next 6 weeks.Chat Icon

I've heard of many ways to get your first child to feel all the love during your pregnancy. Maybe you can post a question about how to include your first child in your pregnancy. I'm drawing a blank.

i am right there with you. it started for me at about 6w2d and has been with me pretty much since (going on 8 weeks now). it is up and down, but never completely gone. and the food aversions S U C K.

i understand your feeling bad about complaining - i have felt the same way. i am afraid that people will think that i am not grateful or happy to be pregnant. the truth is, i couldn't be more grateful or happy to be pregnant -but that doesn't mean that i have to enjoy m/s, or that it hasn't been difficult adjusting my whole life around 24/7 nausea/vomiting. it's only natural to be upset about it.

I agree. I hate to complain and sound ungrateful also. But the truth is, it's just so hard, I can't always smile the way people expect me to! Feel better!
