"that dress" PIC IN ALBUM NOW
hey girls a while ago i posted that i got a dress from anntaylorloft and i was realy torn about keeping it or not, so i still havent made a decision so i took some pics wearing it, what do u think? does it look good? honestly im ont he fence which most likely means i will be returning it, lol i think i can find something more flattering, i really like the top but i dont think im loving the length and b/c of the material i dont think it can be hemmed...

From what I can tell, you look really great in it! I am biased though b/c I love dresses that look like this...I have one and have had it for years...it is so timeless...I have worn it several different times.

i agree, so i have this idea..lol what if i get it in my size but a petite? lol.. would that make it shorter on me  i really think cutting it wont work

im going to order it in petite and compare the 2 just to get an idea, i have time b4 i need to wear the dress--and if i cant LOVE it i will hafta return them both, mind u i still dont have shoes either.. lol i am so NOT a fashionista lol

I decided that i love the top of it and am torn b/c of the lenght, therefore i have ordered it in ANOTHER size and will compare the two.. yes i am nuts but for 129 bucks i dont wanna buy the dress and not LOVE it.. the saga continues...

I like the dress, but I agree that there is "something" about it that I am not liking on you. I don't know if it is the length or the fact that there is a lot of fabric at the top or a combo of the two...
You have a great figure and shouldn't settle if you aren't happy! 
I have a lace dress from White House Black Market. It is very similar to the yours, but a little more revealing on top. It is a "V" shaped neckline. I tried to find it online for you - but it isn't on their website anymore.  I know they had them in the store not too long ago (end of November - early December)? WHBM is in Woodbury and there is an Ann Taylor Loft nearby also

I think that if you get a nice pair of high black heels that are strappy it won't look too long b/c the shoes will make your legs look longer (no ankle strap). Just make sure the shoes are pretty delicate, I think that chunky shoes are what is making you not like the dress.
I think that wearing your hair up with it will look great too.
