Five weeks of age, what is wrong with the person that sold a puppy at that age, should be 6 weeks before weaned from mother. Send an email to
[email protected]. Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals, Inc. asking them to post...they will send to all NYC, Nassau and Suffolk county, tri-state rescue individuals and organizations. Where is the mother? I will have her spayed at no cost.

Excactly! Back Yard Breeder...in other words irresponsible individuals breeding pit bulls, as though there are not enough in the shelters waiting for homes that will never come. Of couse, they call it Blue Pit...like it makes a difference. The poor mother will probably be bred in another few months...shameful! And as long as there are people out there buying these unfortunate animals, the mothers will continue to be bred. Imagine 5 weeks of age and already no room for you in this world, that says it all. Spay and Neuter!!!

Sounds to me like you are the one trying to help the puppy and not her. Is she seeking to sell the puppy or find it a good home? She needs to contact a rescue organization. As I mentioned in my earlier post..Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals. What is it that she cannot grasp? I am not sure I understand.
