Teachers Pet Daycare (Levittown)
Can anyone give thier advice / opinion or recommendation of this daycare.
We are strongly considering it. We went to visit this one and tutor time.
To us, Teachers Pet seemed smaller and more low tech compared to Tutor time.
BUT
Teachers Pet seemed more warm and caring. It would almost seem like we were dropping off our child at Grandma's rather than a school / daycare. I don't know, they just seemed to actually love what they are doing than just a job.
Tutor time just seemed so cold and institution like.
Can anyone give thier opinion, advice?

As far as I know, Tutor Time in Levittown has some violations.

Do you mean the one in Wantagh by MacArthur HS? If so, that's where Ryan goes and so far, so good. They're great and it's small which I love. There are only 5 children in his room and 2 teachers that are very warm. And, I love that it's not a storefront - it's on it's own plot of land, with a big lawn and playground. And they take all the kids out everyday - which I really like - I feel like there's less likelihood to get sick if they're out in the fresh air.
As far as I know, Tutor Time in Levittown has some violations.
No, its the opposite direction.
Its off of Hempstead turnpike. Right across the street from a pool.

I would check the NYS daycare website for violations also. I think that is the one in the village green near us and I remember it having bad reports....but I am not possitive. I will try and search the website.

I was wrong --- they haven't had any violations in the past 2 years ---- I feel like 3 years ago when we were looking they did, I remember driving by and telling DH about it, but now they are clear.

My sister's son went to Teachers Pet in Levittown for years and loved it. Very warm & caring atmosphere and she always felt like they took really great care of him 
Before that he actually went to Tutor Time in Levittown. She had an awful experience with them which is why she switched to Teachers Pet.
Sorry...my nephew went to Teachers Pet in Wantagh across from McArthur High School....I'm sure its probably the same owner though.

My coworker had all 3 children at some point in there. She was very happy with them and she said her kids were too.

I don't know Teachers Pet but I know the teachers for the toddler at Tutor Time. They used to cover the later shift for the infants A and B. They are very nice and very good with the kids if your DC is in the toddler section. DS loved them.

That's funny - I am visiting both teachers pet and tutor time today.
I saw the teachers pet in plainview and actually loved the staff, but I found the site slighly 'bleak' - like it needed a good scrub down. The only part that I don't really like is that you have to take 5 days if you go to the infant room - and you only get one week of 'vacation' time.

Since the OP posted also about Tutor Time, I posted on it.
No part time for infants.
1 week vacation time also after 6 months of enrollment.

Actually we were impressed by the price for full time. Other centers we looked at for only 2 days are 2 fixed days, and only about 30bucks cheaper.
With this we pay about 30 bucks more but can bring him in any day, any time.
Rather than have fixed days.
