Tax refund checks
Has anyone gotten their refund checks yet? My mom and sister got theirs, but I am still waiting.

I heard they are dispensing them according to the last two numbers of the SS # of the primary person listed on the tax return
So, for example ###-##-##01 got their's earlier than ###-##-##99.
I could be wrong, this is just what I heard.

i also heard that if you filed using turbo tax, it wont be to the end of this month that you receive them, via direct deposit (if filed with direct deposit)

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. I files with Turbo tax and did direct deposit, so maybe thats why is was faster?

We did not get ours yet. Last 2 digits of DH's SS# is 11 and we are still waiting for our paper check.

I think the stimulus checks are going out by ssn, but refund checks are going out how they usually go out, which is basically first come first serve. The earlier you filed, the sooner you should get your return.

Anyone who e-filed and did direct deposit AND paid for their taxes with a CC will have it direct deposited by 5/30
If you e-filed and had the fees taken out of your taxes it will take longer
Paper checks aren't being mailed out till June - so if you got your refund through a paper check, you won't get the stimulus until sometime in June.

our letter said we should get it by 5/23. We efiled our taxes. But for some reason got a paper check mailed to us and we got it yesterday 5/27.  but at least we got it!

It's all based on your SSN. They are sending them to those that efiled with direct deposit first in sequential order. After that, they'll do those that got refunds with actual checks, again in sequential order of SSN.
We got ours a few weeks ago (we efiled through Tax Cut and had a direct deposit for our refund).

mine also says "unavailable"...my last 2 digits put me in the week of the 20th. Is that the same for you? Bc it says they wont give you a specific date until the week before.

What is unavilable? The link is https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet?app=IRACTC&selectLanguage=en
If you had your tax preparation fee taken out of your refund and you filed online, you will get a paper check NOT direct deposit. Then you need to go by the paper check schedule, not the DD one.
