Well not many in our state but it's always surprising when you find out your neighbor or coworker is a Trump worshipper who believes the Orange buffoon can do no wrong.
There's no reasoning with these ppl, because they have willingly chosen to believe in Fox News propoganda. If they still side with Trump after all the shenanigans and horrible things Trump has done, then it's a telling sign that they are probably not much better than him.

Yes, you are right. I **TRY** so hard to walk away, ignore or not engage them but I get so tired of listening to their misinformed, misguided rhetoric. It really is like a cult mentality, literally NOTHING Trump says or does matters. There can be proof positive that Trump lied and they will shrug and keep on supporting him. It's madness!!

I just don’t engage much anymore. It’s not worth my time. I maybe spend 5 minutes and move on. I do roll my eyes way too much, though. I’m pretty sure I’ll need stronger glasses soon.

I can't just let it go, though. While you're right about it being a waste of time and energy, it seems that the more they spew, the more they believe that they are correct. Opinions are fine, but these opinions aren't based on fact.

I cannot believe how myopic and infantile these posts are. Of course, you can disagree with anyone, including the current elected President, but why not be respectful of differing views? I've been a lifelong conservative / Republican with many, many liberal friends and we have always had concise, intelligent conversations while explaining our viewpoints.
Just because someone has a different opinion it's like banging your head against a wall (as the emoji reads)? Really? Sounds like 6th grade BS to me.

I have NO problem with a difference of opinion or an intelligent discussion and dialogue HOWEVER, in my own personal experience it's almost impossible to do that with those that support Trump. I try to see their side and discuss but I basically get talked AT, told that everything is "fake news" and that Trump can do no wrong. So it's a pointless "discussion". Hence the
I respect everyone's opinion, even if it doesn't align with my own, but I have NO respect for someone who can't see past memes, Fox news, and their own agenda.

See, you had me agreeing with you, until you resorted to the very problem you complained about in the preceding paragraph: Name Calling. I wish people would stop with the name calling all around, including our president (i.e. "Pocahontas," "Little Marco," "Crazy Ted," "Cheatin' Hillary/Obama," etc.")
