Talk to me about buying a used car....
And talk to me like I'm dumb. I've never bought a car before, especially not used. We've always leased new. But finally, with a second baby on the way my husband agreed to get a second car! He wants to buy used and we're basically a blank slate with no info on how to go about this. Help??

Talk to me about buying a used car....
Its really not much different than leasing. You negotiate the same. I would buy from a dealer not a individual seller.

Talk to me about buying a used car....
Go for certified pre-owned too. A basic warranty comes with the car and you can purchase an optional upgrade (which is totally worth the money).
