Switched to formula and q about dirty diapers... UPDATED
Sorry for the TMI but since I switched DS to formula he has not pooped at all really. He was pooping at least 5 times a day with BF. Is this normal or is he constipated? And, if so, what should i do? TIA 
ETA: He is 2 wks, 3days.
Updated - still no poop! He hasn't pooped since friday night! going to call the dr. tom!

i also found that happened, i switched from BF to formula at 2 weeks old also and he went from pooping after every feeding to pooping 1 time a day, the doctor said its normal and that some kids only poop a couple times a week. But if ur concerned call your pediatrician

When we switched DD to some formula (still getting breastmilk too) she didn't poop any less... the, uh, consistency just changed.

Thank you. I will def. call the ped on monday if this continues. I never in my life thought i would analyze poop so much

FF babies generally poop less often than BF babies so it's probably fine. Our daughter only poops every 3 or 4 days and the ped says it's fine. It's not the frequency that determines constipation, it's the consistency. Though, if they go too long they may recommend you stimulate a movement (lots of fun!)
