Summer '09 babies! How are we doing?

As we are approaching the first birthdays , how are the babies doing?

I took DS for his first real trip to the beach, and he tried to eat the sand and rocks. Any summer plans w/ the babies?

I still cant believe the kids are turning 1....I think this year went by faster than my pregnancy.....We go on Wed for their 10 month visit but they are so freakin big!!!! No summer vacation planned we had to go out and buy a new Suburban so I can take all 3 out at the same time now but we are going to Florida for 2 weeks in Oct and I cant wait for that!!!!!

Cant believe my DS is gonna be a year next month. its crazy. we are gonna go on a few weekend getaways this summer with the little one. Very excited!!

It's crazy DD will be a year in couple months! We are taking a trip up north in July and it will be DD's first camping trip. Taking her to the beach next weekend, her first time since it's warm out. I take her to the park alot, she loves going for stroller rides.

Good! We just back from a wedding, I'll post a pic of DD later and we're slowly planning her 1st b-day

and we leave to Jamaica next week with DD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're doing awesome! I cannot believe in just over a month, Nolan will be ONE!!!

He pulls up to stand in the tub and in his crib (just last night)! And crawling everywhere I let him! I just love how he learns so quick. I showed him how to blow bubbles in the tub and he put his face right in! Friday I started showing him how to "kick" a ball and today, he did it on his own! Oh, and he can play the kazoo! He makes me so proud!!!

We are very much looking forward to a good amount of boating this summer. I'd love to do Disney in late September (If I can ever sit down and watch my free vacation planning dvd! ) and we are having a blast at our Friday and Monday playdates with LIF friends and making some great bonds with a few from our local library classes! We're having a great time!

I'd also like to do some type of animal adventure... white post farms, central park zoo, holtsville ecology center...

I can't believe how quickly their first birthdays are approaching!

We're going to the States for the 4th time in August (my dad will be 60 and my nan will be 80) - can't wait to take him to MY old beaches! DH and I are also taking a few days off while we're there and staying out at a winery over night and leaving DS with Grandma! It'll be his first overnight without us!

I can't get over the fact that DD will be a year old in just 2 weeks!! Where does the time go?!
She is becoming such a fun little person! She's cruising all around the living room holding onto the furniture, but she doesn't quite have the balance part down so she probably wont be walking on her own for a little while yet.
We don't have any vacations planned for this summer, mostly because our next LO is due July 3rd. But we plan on taking our first LONG road trip down to south Florida to visit my family in December.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well!

DD is over 9 months now and does so many new things every day! Today when I went to get her from her crib she was standing up!

We are going to NY for a wedding in July... it'll be DD's 3rd flight! We are going to leave her overnight with my mom and it'll be the first time she stays overnight without at least one of us being there.

Hey! Too funny that you mentioned that about the beach because I was just telling Denise and the others yesterday that I took Liam to the beach on Fri and he tried to eat the rocks too! Oh boy!

We are doing well! I can't believe that Liam will be 1 in about 2 weeks! It is crazy!!!!!

Our summer plans are all fun! I can't wait to be off with him for the summer! We will be up for GTGs and fun!

We are going to VA for 4th of July weekend to visit our friends (and Liam's godmother) and then our big summer trip is to Puerto Rico at the end of July. I can't wait!

As for Liam, he still has NO teeth! He has gotten better with table food so that is good. He isn't crawling except for moving backwards. He stands really well holding onto things and will even do so independently for a little bit but no steps yet. When he stands sometimes he is on his tippy toes. We shall see what happens!

Hope everyone is doing well! Doesn't it feel like just yesterday that we were pregnant?

Jack is going to be 10 months in a week and every day with him is something new. He's in constant motion and loves walking all over holding my hands. He finally started babbling Dada this week, which my husband can't get enough of.

We are planning a trip to Montauk in the beginning of the summer and to Bethany Beach in Delaware at the end. He's been to the beach a few times before and loves the sand which always ends up in his mouth too.

I still can't believe DS is 8.5 months old & less then 4 months to his first birthday! Where the heck does the time go!?!?

He is such a fun boy now. Everyday he is learning new things, like clapping hands, saying Momma , he clicks his tongue (my father taught him how to call the horses), babbling up a storm, attemping to crawl. I feel like it is something new daily! My DH comes home to from work to find him doing new "tricks" as we call them!

We haven't decided what we are doing with DS first birthday party just bc our second DS is due via c-section the day after his birthday! So I need to wait until I have my date to plan!

Connor is doing great! 2 teeth, and two more breaking through! He isn't crawling yet but he is rocking on his hands and knees! We are taking a quick trip to Lancaster, PA with the family but other than that we'll just be hanging out at the beach and pool! Still doing Saf-t-Swim and probably continuing our Music Together classes.

I can't believe that we are thinking about 1st bday either! DD is just over 9 months and seems to be moving along well. She is cruising on everything and crawling everywhere. She loves to "walk" holding on to just a finger in each hand. She stands in her crib all the time especially when she wants out!!!

We don't have any big plans for the summer, but we are going on our first long car trip this coming weekend for a wedding in Pittsburgh, PA! Should be a fun 6 hour drive. Other than that, nothing is planned. Just spending as much time with her as we can!

Where is everyone planning on doing DC's first bday???

I cannot get over the fact that I am planning my DD's 1st birthday party! how do I have an almost 1 year old?!??!!
She will be 11 months next week and is so adorable and smart! She is my little buddy. She can crawl but really prefers to cruise along the furniture. She can "brush" her hair, "talk" on her phone, and give her 2 babydolls hugs and kisses! She also adores Elmo.

We just got back from her second trip to Ireland and we are heading down to Ocean City NJ next week and then Outer Banks, NC in August. So looking forward to what toddlerhood will bring although I look back on her newborn pics and miss my little baby!

DD is just over 9 months now and doing awesome!

She's been crawling since 6 months, pulling herself up since about 7 months and now she's been standing on her own a little bit- bor about 30 seconds at a time. She is saying mama, dada, baba and what I *think* is dog and cat, but sound more like *co ck* She's got a whole slew of words that I think actually mean something because she says them all the time, but I can't figure them out yet. I posted last week about her not clapping her hands yet and of course the next day, she started clapping her hands.

We may be going to south carolina at the end of August, but nothing is set in stone yet. I'm going to be planning her first birthday very soon, too!

DS will be one next month, and I can't believe how fast it all went. I felt like yesterday we brought him home.

He is so much fun now. He walks holding onto my hands. He loves going to the store and waving at everyone. He is a little person.

This is great to see how all the little ones are doing! I too can't believe how the time is just flying by...it almost makes me sad but it is so amazing to see all the new things DD does! DD just over 9 months now :)

She's been cruising which is so hsyterical to see! Crawls all over the place I can't keep her still, now she is into climbing which is quite scary! I let her climb the stairs the other night while I was behind her and she was so thrilled with herself when she got to the top and it was a great way to tire her out!! She is doing the mama, dada, baba and quite the copy cat. She found her nose on mother's day what a great gift so now we say "where's your nose" and she points to it so proud! We will say arms up and silly face and she does both, which are truly my favorite. She is starting to hug and pat you on the back and her open mouth kisses are hysterical! She is eating table food and had chicken parm last night for the first time and loved it! She does the whole stand on her own for a bit but not taking that step!

I was going through her bins of clothes to get rid of stuff I just couldn't believe that she fit into these teeny tiny pants and tops, my heart was melting to think in a few short months she will be a year!

One year flew and yet other times I feel like Mason has been with us forever

His B-day is Friday.

Doing great!
Still not the best with table food so that's a slow process.

Not walking yet, but climbs on everything and anything.

Babbles and says a few words

He also ate the sand the last time we went to the beach

Hates the feeling of the grass. LOL!

Can't wait to take some long weekends to take him to GA, beach, pool, etc

DD is doing great, she will be 1 at the very end of July. She is crawling, pulling to stand and sitting herself up. Once she started sitting herself up from her tummy it was like she had an explosion in her motor skills, everything else started coming very quickly.
She babbles alot, she sounds like she is speaking another language.
She claps, waves, points and imitates really well. We had a rough April with teething and ear infections, but we seem to be back on track and my happy, (relatively) easy baby is back.

hiii! doing great here, too! Logan will be 10 mos next week. My giant baby is just about NORMAL sized now! Still wearing size 24m clothing, size 5 diapers. No longer 95+%ile for height weight --- he's settled into a nice, average 80th %ile.

We're still mostly on baby food (likely for the convenience), but he eats any table food he's given. He doesn't love the feel of raw cheese, but if i spoon feed it, he loves it! Pooping rabbit turds 1-2x a day.

He crawls everywhere (usually with a toy in his mouth, like a little bulldog ) verrrry quickly, has 3 bottom teeth and 2 top ones just cut. He got his 1st tooth @ 8mos and had nothing else for a month. Now all of a sudden, they're popping up left and right!

He's cruising and makes a game out of passing between the couch, ottoman, coffee table for hours. The kid has no fear. He face plants at least twice a day and pops up laughing. He only lets go for about a second, then quickly latches on to the nearest object.

He LOVES swings, chillin' in his stroller, women, and anything shiny.

He's always smiley and laughing - i have NO IDEA how i got such a happy kid!

We have DaDa, MaMa, NumNum (food), and NighNigh (night night). And my personal favorite - AY YI YI YI YIIIII when he's whining. hahhahaha

He got his first haircut Saturday - omg, so cute. His days of rockin the mullet are OVERRRR! He didn't cry, whine, or wiggle at all. He was soooo serious the whole time, like he didn't really understand what to make of it! (pics on fbook, didn't upload here yet.)

He's not in that attachment stage yet, either. It makes no difference to him if I'm in the room or not - no skin off his back.

He has days where he's a little bit of a handful (like yesterday) - only because he's into EVERYTHING. He was holding on to and hanging off a doorknob!!! SUCH A BOY!!!

He's still sleeping well (for the most part). Last night, I heard him up and jumping in his crib at 1am. he didn't settle down after 5 minutes, so I went in to check on him and he had pooped. Changed him, kissed him up, then put him back in the crib. He was up for the next 90 MINUTES - jumping, squealing, laughing. He was happy as a clam at 9am today and I'm SHOT!

Tommy is doing great...

He has 4 teeth on top (just coming in now) and 2 on the bottom.

Crawling like a speed demon everywhere, pulling up to stand and climbing (no fear ). Stands on his own wobbly and tries to take a step but face plops...it's cute. I think he will be walking soon.

He's tall and thin still, wearing 12m in most clothes but I think we need to go up a size soon. Just went to size 4 diapers.

Loves anything with wheels and bouncy balls. Eating solid foods, pieces of chicken, turkey, green beans, cheerios, etc...

Went swimming in the pool for the first time this weekend and loved it! Likes to give "kisses" (wet sloppy ones )

Says mama, dada, baba....but I am not sure they correlate to the meaning yet...maybe Baba but not sure.

Loving every day!
