suggest a book - 3rd grade
we have read-aloud day every year and this year my dh is coming into my class to read. should be very cute cuz i'm pregnant and my kids are so excited to meet him. anyway, i have no idea what to tell him to read. he wants to read a book about the ny mets 86 world series but i think it is silly (and really only cute for met fan parents who want to convince their kids to be fans!) and the girls won't be into it. i am thinking something funny would be good. i know he'll ham it up for them. any ideas?

How about any of the "_____ from the Black Lagoon series" ( teacher, nurse etc)

I love the Diary of a Worm or any of the other "Diary" books by that author...my kids always think they are so funny!
