Sucking Noises and MMMMMM

Does anyone else notice that their child makes sucking noises when you are eating and they aren't?

Lately I have been noticing her pay attention to my eating/drinking habits. She stares at the food/drink and then makes sucking noises and says "MMMMMM".


I just think its funny. Does she really know I am eating and she isn't?

yes, sometimes Matthew will open his mouth when I open my mouth to put food in it
He just started rice cereal...and he always stares at our food.
We went to the Chinese buffet and my DH was eating crab legs, you should have seen Matthew's eyes,

Its amazing how quick they pick up on things.

This weekend we were at IHOP and she was on my lap trying to grab my glass. So i got a small cup of water with no ice and held it for her to drink and she loved it. So we have been trying to give her a sippy cup here and there because thats not the first time she has shown interest.

My son has food radar. He wants to eat every time I sit down to eat- even if he's eaten recently. I try to feed him right before we eat.
