stupid question about pre lit
when i see xmas decorations that say pre lit what exactly does that mean?
does it require an electric outlet???
sorry so stupid, but i really dont know

yes you need an outlet, it just means that the lights are already pre-strung and ready to be lit up.

If you see a tree thats pre-lit it means that there are already lights on it, but yeah you have to plug it in to an outlet...

I think it just means it has strings of lights already on it. So you just set it up and plug it in - no untangling your own lights and trying to space them properly.

im trying to figure out how to decorate the front of the house, bc there arent any outlets in front only in the backyard...
how am i supposed to light it all up??

I know I have the same problem! My only outlet outside is on the side of my house. Last year I had to have an extension cord wrapped around to the side and I hated the way it looked! I was also scared someone was going to trip over it.
Let me know if you find a solution!
