Stump fell off but it is a little bloody...
Should I be concerned? I have a ped appt tomorrow but should I call her today?
It is not oozing but looks like a clot of blood.

No I don't think you should be concerned. It will probably dry out and when you give him his first bath it will wash away.

It sounds fine to me. Try using a Q-tip with water to just clean the outside area of it. The same thing happened with my son and the pediatrician said it was OK. Of course, like with anything, if you feel more comfortable calling your pediatrician, definitely do it. It's better than worrying.

My sons fell off and was actually bleeding..The ped told me to just dry it out with alcohol....and if it didnt dry up she would put some chemical on it to cauderize it....as long there is no discharge that smells you are fine
