Strapless or halter-top maternity dress -UPDATE JCPENNEY ROCKS!!
has anyone seen something like this? We have a party to go to Saturday night and I have it in my head that I want a strapless dress (or halter-type).
I can't find anything I like on-line, and I hate to be driving around randomly.

I think that's my gameplan for tomorrow - one of the malls has both, plus L&T and a Motherhood Maternity. Hopefully I'll find something!

You can also try some non-maternity dresses. You can probably find one in a flowy fabric with an empire waist type of cut that would also be flattering

the gap has cute empire wasted and trapeze non maternity dresses on sale. i've been able to get away with them and they have room to grow!

Lane Bryant has a strapless long matte jersey dress on their website. You can dress it up or down and it looks comfortable.

Thanks ladies for all of your suggestions!!
JcPenney rocks!!!!! They have the most gorgeous selection of empire waisted dresses! I actually walked out with 2 - one long, and one short for under $80 total! I may wear one tomorrow and keep the other one for my shower. I was able to buy my pre-pregnancy size, and the empire waist is perfect!!

the bra situation quickly became an issue  . My boys got too big to really handle a halter and the strapless dresses all came in these weird pastel colors. I ended up getting two dresses - one with thick enough straps that a regular bra is do-able, and one with a v-neck that worked out perfectly.

I went to the one in Massapequa because I was tutoring in that area. They had a great dress selection, Macy's didn't have anything.
