stomach virus vs. flu..talk to me
OF COURSE, my poor ds was fine all day today, he had a half day at school he came home, went to his friends house and then came home again, we went out to eat...he ate all of his dinner, and 20 minutes after getting home passed out in his room..so i go check on him because at 11 years old, its highly abnormal for him to be asleep by 750pm, and hes crying that his head is pounding, his body hurts, his neck hurts..hes burning up but at this point his temp is only about 100, but i know him, and by tomorrow he'll have 103 at least..he runs very high and starts with 100 every time..the only thing making me wonder if its this stomach thing going around, is that he says he feels like hes gonna vomit..but he hasnt yet..
oh please tell me this isnt swine or a stomach virus, i CANNOT be 7 months pregnant and moving this weekend out of my house, and have this poor sick thing to take care of, while trying not to get me or Melania sick..
 say some prayers for us ladies...

It sounds like the flu. That's how I felt a couple of years ago when I had the REGULAR flu. Only time will tell. I hope whatever it is doesn't last long and that he feels better soon.

im thinking flu too, ugh i hate seeing him like this, i just went to check on him, and hes sleeping, but like moaning in pain, and sweating profusely (which i guess is good cause hes sweating the fever out)
I just hope it passes, and that none of us have to get it either..

the only thing that bothers me is the headache and neck pain... i would really watch his temp and make sure it isnt something more then the flu

the head thing i wasnt too concerned with because he gets frequent migranes ...the neck thing worries me..im hoping its not so hard getting him seen tomorrow at the ped with the holiday and all..he never runs a temp, and when he does, hes in trouble..he gets REALLY bad.
