Still bleeding after d&C
It is just spotting - but 14 days later, is this normal? I feel like I am never going to stop spotting! How long did everyone else who had a d&c bleed for? Thanks!

well i just had my dnc done last week but im still bleeding, before i had masive clots but now im passing clots im just bleeding like a regular period i how normal is this, i hope its normal and i hope ur doing much better

I had a MC on 1/30 and the bleedng stopped on 2/5 once everything passed on its own it all stopped pretty quickly. I have heard some girls bled for a long time. Im sorry about your loss im here if you want to chat, i know how difficult it is.

My d&C was on the 1st and I bled off and on for about a week. I think you get your AF back about 4 weeks afte r the bleeding stops.

I know this is an old posting, but I have been bleeding for over 1 year. I am post menopausal, my pap was negative. Dr's thought it was my thyroid causing havoc. An ultra sound showed I had a large polyp, so I finally had a d&c done in June 2010; we thought it was taken care of. Three weeks later it began again and the only time it has stopped, is when my father passed away, then it began again for the past 3 weeks. What now? I'm going back to the gyn and hope we will come to a conclusion. I have sharp pain on the side near my ovary (the gyn says my ovaries are not doing anything) but what's causing the pain? And why do I bleed after the pain? My only other option, now is a complete hysterectomy...right? Why can't the medical folks find the problem?
