stair runners..

Can you please post pics of your stair runners...we are in the market and want to give dh some ideas. If you could include where you got it from and approx how much you paid, that would be great!

Here is ours. I dont know the exact cost because we got a bunch of things carpeted at once but i think that for the stairs and then a small runner for the hallway it was about $1700 - which is ridiculous if you ask me! We went to Country Carpet in Syosset. While I love the runner, I would not recommend them. Try Home Depot Expo. Even though I hate recommending HD - they do a good job with carpet.

$1700??? that's insane, oh my gosh! you do have beautiful carpet, but still. we paid less than $1000 for a stair runner/upstairs hallway and an area rug for the bedroom. i don't remember the name of the place but it is on saxon ave in bayshore.

i HIGHLY recommend fred's carpet in east northport. they have been around for YEARS and are SO nice and helpful. i have a stair and hall runner. don't remember the exact price but it was definetly over $1,500. perhaps $$$ but IMO you really do get what you pay for.
