Spring is coming - best deals on Lawn treatments?
Hey -
we got some quotes for some lawn companies to come and treat our lawn for the first time this year - but it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Anyone get any good package deals?
Which companies? thanks!

One of my co-workers swears by Scotts but I had them give me an estimate and it was insane! Their prices were outrageous. I showed it to my landscaper and he said he can do the same thing for a fraction of the cost. We had the land graded and reseeded last year but we still ended up with a ton of crab grass and weeds so we're having the landscaper do a spring clean up and some fertilizer and weed/insect treatments. And we have to have the sprinkler company reconfigure our system to help prevent over/under watering in certain areas. Hopefully we won't get that ugly crabgrass again. BLEH!

You can do the Scotts treatment yourself. There is a 4 season treatment that you can follow and the results are really good.
