Spinoff...Do you or your SO Sleep Talk?
DH does...at first I thought he was talking to me...know I know he is sleep talking...sometimes just for fun I'll answer him back just to have a little fun.
one time he was talking about bolting something to the ground or it was going to burst...so I told him to put a ruberband around it.
my MIL says that I should tell him to buy me expensive jewerly when he is sleep talking...I haven't tried that yet...but Valentines day is around the corner.

I actually laugh in my sleep and I get so hysterical that it wakes me up. Its so strange bc whatever went on in my dreams I dont remember but the laughing continues for at least 2 minutes after I wake up. This has happened to me numerous amounts of times. My DH thinks its funny and goes back to bed.

I used to but now I'm dead to the world when I sleep. My kids do - which I find really amusing. I join them in conversation to change their dreams around, telling them that they're magic, etc.
eta. I have punched DH in my sleep. He put his arm around me, but I was having a dream I was walking down a dark alley.

Thats so funny that you said that. I have always talked in my sleep but in the last 2 weeks I have woken up hysterical laughing and I can't remember what I was dreaming or why I was laughing. But, just like you I continue to laugh for a few minutes after I'm awake. Weird.

DH talks in his sleep too sometimes. And sometimes he laughs. I like asking him questions and playing along whenever he sleep talks. One time he woke up and took my socks off! I swear to God it was so funny yet freaky...LOL

Neither one of us do usually. WHen I first moved in with DH he sat up suddenly in the middle of the night and yelled at me "What are YOU doing here?" I yelled back "I live here now ding dong" Nothing like making me feel welcome.

I do all the time. DH thinks it's so funny. One time he found me tomahawking my pillow because I thought there was a large bug under it in my dream. The first night we ever slept in the same bed I woke him up by having an arument in my dream with my mother. I was yelling something about "mom" and "monopoly". I could go on for days with the things I've said!

Sometimes Im conscious of it too.... Like Im talking out loud in my dream...and I know it...but cant stop it 
Dh says sometimes I can have a whole convo...
Id rather chat in my sleep anyday than snore like the boozoo ( im mean Dh) I sleep next too

I'm a screamer. I have what you call "Night Terrors". I've been battling this for 14 years  Wow, I didn't even realize it's been that long already. Well, when I had my first episode sleeping with my husband he almost had a heartache because all of a sudden I'd just start screaming and freaking out in my sleep. It always happens exactly 1/2 hour after I fall asleep. My husband is used to me doing this by now (6 years), but it still freaks him out from time to time.

DH does! He speaks loud & clear too! SOmetimes he laughs, sometimes he fights with people, he has hit me, kicked me AND SPIT at me in his sleep! He yells things out VERY loudly and startles me out of my sleep. Then I can not fall back asleep sometimes . Occasionally I wake him up because he woke me up! This is pretty much a nightly problem unfortunately for me! I have had the worst nights of sleep since I am married!
