Spinoff to Sophie (smdl) post - stroller group...
I saw some eastern suffolk moms interested...
Heres the deal - I live in Northport... also, I used to be a certified fitness instructor... I could most probably lead a nice fitness class. I sure am not in the same shape I was in when I was leading 5 classes a day (man did I kick a s s then...) but I have discovered now that I'm working out again that I really am still in decent shape...
We could decide what we want to do in terms of the class structure, but I can incorporate kickboxing, strength training, jump rope, obviously speed walking, stuff like that. I don't have that cute little portable music thing that the stroller moms use, but we can hum or something!!
But - I work full time - so we would have to do weekends, and some possible evenings during the week as well... It would also have to be in Northport preferably....
If theres enough of an interest there, I would totally be into doing it....

Great idea!
I used to be a personal trainer myself so we can also incorporate some workout if people are up to it.
It's quite easy and great to do with DC. We can use them as "weight". I know some great exercises that can be done with DC. Workout for moms, fun for babies.

I would be all over it if I didn't live out on the North Fork. Although, if you did a weekday evening, I work in central Suffolk...so that's a definite maybe for me

I forgot I'm considered western suffolk - I'm so stupid...
But I really would love to do this - we have the talent - and we wouldnt charge anyone... it could be comparable to the stroller mom class - when I took the free class, I remember thinking - I could totally do this!!!

On my other post, some ladies out East want to organize their stroller group too since they are too far also.
I wish you lived closer.

I know you can do this.
I am sure they will be several Huntington moms (not too far from you!) who would be interested.
If you want me too, I will try to set up several groups for different areas, yours included into one thread.
