Spinoff to credit report and getting a job
Do you feel like there is now a complete disregard for privacy?
For example, why do I need to give my SS# to a Dr. office, who BTW has a copy of the insurance card and id number that can be verified with the insurance? FYI... I refuse to give it to them.
I feel like so much information is needed by WAY too many people.
No wonder we have so many identity theft issues.

That is really funny that you should say this...my dad went to the doctor yesterday and the receptionist got annoyed because he wouldnt give her his SS #. He had the same argument...the office has his policy # and copy of insurance card so why do they need his SS #????
