Spinoff to burping...When did you actually stop burping your infant???
RJ is almost 4 months...he hates to burp because we interuppt his feeding with it. I cant remember when we stopped it with Paige.

I stopped earlier than that. Like 3 months, because whenever we burped her she puked everywhere and she was able to do it on her own when she needed to.

DD is 4 1/2 months.... sometimes in the last few ounces of her bottle...she gets a little restless....means she needs to be burped. Other times, she takes the whole bottle 6-7 oz and we just burp her when shes done.

During the bottle - we stopped around 5 months. They would scream if we took the bottle out of their mouths to burp them, so we would just wait until they were finished.
We just stopped burping them even at the end of the bottle at 7 months. They can burp on their own now.

Us too, although i still did it before bedtime for quite some time (during our cuddle time). He didn't need it, but i was so used to doing it. sometimes i didn't even realize i was doing it.

DD is 8 months, and I still do it. Most of the time she can do it on her own, but it takes awhile and she'll start spitting up before she burps.
