Spinoff- re: wiping and diaper rashes
Just curious to see if there is any correlation in the frequency of wiping and diaper rashes. I don't feel strongly EITHER way, this is merely out of curiosity.

The only time DS gets a diaper rash is if he is teething, or if someone uses the wrong wipes/diapers (he has sensitive skin).

I wipe Ella after each diaper change. She is 16 months old and NEVER SO FAR experience a diaper rash.

DS is 20 months, I do not wipe after a pee diaper and he has had 1 diaper rash and it was from a lot of new foods/teeth right around his first birthday.

DS has never actually had a diaper rash, but his tush was getting a little red recently. desitin was helping, but only a little. i stopped wiping after just pee diapers (except for his first morning one, he gets wiped all over for that one  ), and the redness went away (this was after i stopped using the desitin).

I always wipe DD after every single diaper change and she has never had a diaper rash. But of course, she is only 10 weeks too.
