Spinoff: Did you tip your attorney?
I didn't. But hell... if people here are tipping the goddam title person.... i would imagine there are people out there that tip the attorney as well.
Maybe I am wrong.... who knows.

I didn't tip my attorney - although he did a great job and had to work with a seller who didn't use an attorney but basically called MY attorney every time he had a question.

I didn't either, they are getting paid alot to do what they do. (And I am an avid over-tipper) If I really liked their services I let them know it by referring them to others

Nope. It didn't even cross my mind to tip the attorney or the title person. We got an astronomical bill from the attorney! Granted, it wasn't a standard contract and he gave us a very detail breakdown of the time he spent on our case, but the total cost was extremely high.

Nope, hes my cousin but even if he wasnt no way- and I didnt tip the title person either!!!! Why should I????? I think the whole "tipping" thing is way out of control!!!!!

I didn't tip my attorney - he was a family friend.
I did tip the title guy (based on my attorney's suggestion). He said it's custom to do this if everything goes smoothly. I wish someone would tip me everytime I did my job.
