I know that my step sister went to Norma's school of dance in Bethpage for many years. She began around 3 and then continued and was even teaching there before moving to Arizona.

Norma's is open.
I take G there for dance camp and she will be there come Sept again :)
BTW: I had G in there last yr...and the recital was the cutest thing ever.
I cried my eyes out. it was priceless to see.
She will be there so if you join, maybe we will see each other.

Maybe I will go there this week. I left a message, and someone called me back and told me they were closed for summer. Maybe she meant there were not classes in summer?

If you are looking for Irish Step...there is a place in Levittown, Schaede Academy.
But they are closed for the summer...

But they are closed for the summer...
No - just regular now. E is killing me doing her "ballerina moves" around the house which consists of her pointing one foot out and then spinning around!  I'm just not sure I am up for anything else besides soccer, although I know I will be bored from Nov - April.

My Elizabeth went this past year to Attitudes in Motion in Old Bethpage. It was great but she doesnt want to do dance anymore. The price was reasonable, it was $130 for 10 sessions (there are 3 sessions for full year) but the recital and costume were ridiclously expensive and the recital was in patchouge.

That is where I was going to suggest to go.. Most of my friends go there. It is 2 minutes from you in the Old Bethpage shopping center - my ped is there, villa monte..etc.. You will get a mix of kids there- Bethpage, plainview, oldbethpage and melville/dix hills.. JAcob mught do hip hop there..
