spin off to rock n play - how do you know if something is mold
OK, I feel really stupid. I took my fabric off, and on the fabric that isn't removable, over the hard plastic, where there are circle shaped holes in the plastic, there are outlines that look like water marks on the fabric - is this mold? Its not black, it looks like when I drool on a pillow... what do you do?
Ds has been sleeping in this thing constantly. He's had a cough that hasn't gone away for 2 weeks.... I hate to think this could be mold.

ETA: Hes been to the dr. because of the cough and the dr said his lungs were clear. I'm so confused right now.

This happened with our RnP too. However, it did not make DS sick so that might not be the cause. Everyone is sick right now, so try not to panic about it. I treated it like it was mold just in case. I don't remember which cleanser I used because it was awhile ago. But I would clean it thoroughly and let it air out for awhile before you put your DS back in it.

Thanks! I haven't put him back in it and my mom, who is a cleaning nut, is coming over today, so ill ler he clean it and see what she says. As if moms of newborns don't have enough to worry about !

That sounds like drool stains. Mold would be furry looking, white or black.
