DS is only 18 mos so he has to come in with me. He can stand/walk so I do have him play "mommy says/simon says" so he doesn't touch the floor or anything else icky.

I hear a few people chuckle but its better then him touching the floor then sucking his finger before I finish my business. It keeps him occupied.

When he was between the car seat carrier and standing/walking stage, when I had to go to the bathroom in a supermarket/store - I just got a basket and plopped him down in there.

I saw a mom at school yesterday in K-mart buying toilet seat covers that looked pretty. I questioned it. She said she was going away on vaca and didn't want to discourage her DD from uising the potty....thought it was pretty cleaver.
