Special gift for newborn Godson? need help from LIF Mommies
My dear friend has asked me to be her first child's Godmother, I am SOOOOO HONORED!!! 
 is going to be born any day now....I already went nuts for her shower & got her a coach diaper bag, wallet & wristlet and I made her a scrapbook & handpainted travel sized wipe box...but now I want to get something for the little guy when he arrives!!!
She received all of the essentials already & his room is done.
Any suggestions on something I can give that will either be extremely useful and/or a very special keepsake?

A holder for the baptism certificate? They have ones that can be engraved. The baptism outfit. When DS arrived we got tons and tons of gift cards.

My Son got a beautiful musical keepsake from his godmother - it was a silver globe with a rocking horse inside and it plays music. I think she got it on PBK or red envelope.
Giggle is a cute website for gifts too.
Congrats on becoming a godmother.

We got a little statue of a baby that had a wind up musicbox attached. Initially, I didn't love it, but it became a very sentimental keepsake for me because I would wind the music every time I put the baby down to sleep in his room for the first few months. So I think a music box is a great idea.
A few other things that we used early on that I became attached to were lullaby CDs and handmade baby blankets.
We also got a photo frame that has a spot for a photo of the baby for each month of his first year. I haven't put it together yet, but I still plan on doing it.

Great suggestions! I checked out a few of the websites.
Can anyone suggest an Etsy vendor or another online store that does personalized bibs?
