Space Shuttle Discovery is NOT taking off today!!
I have been watching c-span since 12:00 (I know loser, but I am so fascinated by this stuff) They just got all the astronauts suited up and strapped into the shuttle and decided to cancel because of a minor problem!!

Where are they (or were they) launching from.
We are going to be in FL next week and now maybe if they launch next week we will be there to see it.
It was launching from Kennedy Space Center. They say it could launch tomorrow, a few days or a week. They don't know yet. That would be cool if you were there. My dad lives over there and said he was going to go over by Kennedy to watch it today, but they said there were over 250,000 people that were expected. Luckily, he can see it perfectly clear from his back yard!! I hope you get to be there for it. I am trying to find out when the next launch after this will be so I can plan a trip down for next time.

It was mechanical, I think with the boosters and something with a scensor not working.
