Sorry I've been MIA..
Saturday was my shower It was gorgeous and my mother did an amazing job. My grandparents came to visit from Tennessee and stayed with me for a week. So I've been busy with them and trying to figure out what I still need. I feel so blessed by all that we received, but I feel like I still need soooo much more. Anyone else feel this way? However, I did receive about 3 months worth of diapers!  woohoo!
I had my 36wk appt today with a growth sono Baby weighs 6lbs7oz right now and has lots of hair, per the tech. Plus had my first internal.. Closed as a clam

Yay for your shower. Don't run out and buy too much. All you really need is clothes dipers and a place to sleep. I wish I waited on some things cause I know ill never use them. My DS won't sleep in his bassinet so that was a waste.
You can always send DH out for things

Glad you enjoyed your shower! Those 3 months worth of diapers will definitely be useful!
Question for you, I know you see the same doc. Were you scheduled for a sono today? Did you have one at 31w too? I have an appt tomorrow, I am 36w6d but it's my 37w appt. I am guessing internal but would LOVE a sono but it wasn't mentioned to me.

Yea I did a 32w growth sono, but at my last visit Dr. Wagner said he wanted another because he thought this was going to be a very big baby. Today neither tech nor Dr. Goldman were concerned. He thinks the baby will be 8lbs or just under.  We shall see!

I'm glad they aren't concerned for your baby's weight! Hopefully you will have some cervical progress soon I am hoping he says that I have some effacement or dilation tomorrow but it's probably wishful thinking on my part! I really want to go early, yet my hospital bag isn't even fully packed yet  Hey we may see each other there

I received a bunch of diapers from my shower too from the diaper cake centerpieces! Really great idea!
