Sorry for all the hair questions, but regarding the annoying baby hairs--
I have been taking hair, skin, nail vitamins, full of biotin. My skin and nails have been great, and my hair really shiny. Now, I have noticed MORE baby hairs around my crown area. Do you think these hairs are signs of hair growth (maybe b/c of the vitamins) or hair breakage? I can't tell which. I'd ask my hair stylist, but she's going to kill me when she sees that I colored my own hair! LOL! I appreciate it, ladies! Thanks!

I'm sure that it's new hair growth - you can tell the difference between breakage and new hair (I think).
My stylist just cofirmed for me on Sat. that the new baby hairs are really new growth.

ah. i have always had "flyaway" to some extent, but lately I feel like I'm wearing a wig....tons of hair. But these look crazy and are hard to control, even w/spray! I wonder what new moms think (since they sometimes lose hair)...if it's hair growing back in.

i wonder what breakage vs new growth actually looks like....but that's great news for you! i had ballerina bun for years; i worry about damage caused.

GNC Hair, Skin, Nails--I cannot say enough good things. My skin is glowing and my actual hair is growing faster; I'm hoping that's what the whisps mean!

lol, one of the writers for my magazine is Dr. Dan, for Fox 5 News, so I emailed him! He told me it's probably new growth and that broken hair is coarse on the ends. LOL.

ITA. If it were breakage you'd notice the hairline receeding since your scalp would not be the same colour as your forehead.

I think it's new hair growth. I had a lot of PP hairloss & it took some times for those annoying baby hairs to grow in.
It was differnt than breakage. The baby hairs were very fine.
