Softball/baseball field in Suffolk good for a family reunion type thing ?
Trying to plan a family soft-ball game and was wondering if anyone knows of any fields ( preferably Suffolk) , that allow alchoholic beverages and maybe even have a bbq type set-up....
If so, does the field need to be reserved

Not sure about the alcohol but there is Belmont Lake State Park in Babylon area or there is on in Shirley near the corner of William Floyd Parkway and Sunrise Highway.
B/F suggested Eisenhauer Park - that's in Nassau though.
ETA: Got annoyed b/c I can never remember the name - South Haven Park

I was thinking about South Haven Park, but I wasn't sure if they have a field...Guess I will have to start doing some researching !

Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge has a picnic area and ball fields that you can reserve- not sure about the alcohol policy. It's a Town of Islip park.

I was going to suggest South Haven. I'm pretty sure they have a field. At least I know it used to.
