Social Security Card...
I just was notified by my new job that I need to bring my social security card my first day which I don't think I have. Do you know of any Social security offices where I can get one within 2 weeks.

I got my card within a week after changing my name after I got married. I went to the Patchogue office.

I just went in to sign for my job today and I was supposed to bring a SS card. I couldnt find mine, so I brought in my birth certificate. It was on the list of acceptable items.

Hey. I work for social security so you can just go into any office & they will give you a receipt that day (like at the dmv) or if you ask, they can give you some other proof of your identity just in case your card doesn't come in time
