So what do you do w/your DC on a rainy day?
I am feeling guilty about my kids watching too much TV and being indoors too much!
On a day like today, really I know my 2 1/2 yr old would love nothing more than to go out in the rain and splash around,
but I am so lazy, all I can do is count down the minutes till they'll go down for a nap!
So what do you moms do on a day like today, besides put your kids in front of the TV?!!

One year when we were little, my mom actually let us play in the mud! 
It only happened once and we thought she was the coolest Mom for letting us do it!! It was a once in a lifetime thing for us as kids.
But I think today might be a little chilly....
How about bowling??

DS is still a baby, so we don't do much other than read books, play with toys and sing. But as he gets older, I will probably take him bowling, to an indoor play center, maybe to a children's museum, color, do some arts and craft projects.

I hate these days because I feel guilty that he watches TV, but I have to get work done, feed the baby, etc. Jack is in the basement playing with his toys and watching TV....soon it will be lunch...then nap ( ) and then to my parents house for a change of scenery.

I actually took them both out in the pouring rain this morning and went to the Long Island Children's museum. I am glad I went. Now we are home and they are napping!

We still try to get out to the gym otherwise she plays at home. It definitely takes more out of me days when we cant be out but I try not to use the TV completely although it is probably on more but I figure it balances out between the days when we're out all day. Rainy days are tough.

we have a weekly playdate that we still went to. pouring rain, getting em all 3 out of the car was no fun, but it wasnt too bad when we left the house.
did a craft/circle time and playtime at the playgroup,
so they came home and colored, played video games.
we read some books...
theyre just playing in their playroom now, quiet time
