So we tipped the garbage men. And they were not appreciative.
They looked like they were in shock....maybe people don't do this around here (connecticut??).
But still....no thank you or anything.  I'm mad.

Same thing happened to me when I tipped our UPS guy. I gave him $100 (for last year and this year...last year I forgot to tip him)...he had a really strange reaction....I wanted to grab it back out of his hands

That sux! I gave our garbage men each a case of beer this morning and they were really excited. Said they couldn't wait to get home and crack it open.

I just don't understand how you can hand someone a card/gift and not at least say "thank you" in return. Strange!
