So we got the results of all our testing
Turns out I am fine...HSG test was fine...hormone levels were fine...
But...DH's semen analysis came back and his motility and (something else) ranges were really low so the doctor is referring him to a urologist.
She said we might have to go through artificial insemination or IVF if there is something wrong.
I am feeling bad for DH...he would be fine without a baby (he wants one but it won't be the end of the world if he never had one) and now he has to go through all this...
Just trying to digest everything....and I'm going to do some research on it. Any ideas what happens next??

Just give it time for it to sink in to DH and don't harp on him getting to the doctor ASAP.

I could have written this myself.
Dh has the same issues, and he went to a urologist. Counts vary, and when the urologist tested him the counts were higher than when my OB sent him to get tested. He said not to worry, and to keep trying naturally.
We decided that after 6 months of trying, that we were going to see an RE who specializes in infertility. I know no one wants to hear that word, but it's the diagnosis that was given to us. Your dh's sperm might increase in the second test, so don't really go by one test.
So far I've done one unsuccesful IUI, and am in the middle of my second cycle (also IUI).

Also keep in mind there are many dietary and herbal remedies your husband can try. A great book is the infertility cure by Randine Lewis. There is a whole chapter on how to improve male fertility. L-argiinine is supposed to be good.
