So upset and angry! Pan handler Mom
I was just in the Costco parking Lot in Mineola and one of the pan handler women was in there with a cardboard sign.
It read 97 degrees on my dash and she had 2 babies about a year old strapped in a stroller. They were dripping with sweat and were drinking some kind of red fruit punch in their bottles. Disgusting!
I have been without a job, and would never subject my babies to this heat! Go sit at unemployment with your babies in the air conditioning! Don't force them to sit in an asphalt parking lot during a heat wave!
Is there anything I can do?

Call the police, it's illegal to panhandle isn't it? She isn't standing in line at the unemployment office, because she is a con artist, like the rest of them out there with cardboard signs and kids!

Yes call the police.
Number 1 it is illegal to panhandle
Number 2 those children are at risk and CPS should get involved!

Yep call 911!. Hopefully she hasn't moved on by the time the police get there.

I agree! I would call the police right away. Children should not be used as scapegoats for their scam! Shame on them in this heat!! The children should be taken away from them. those poor babies!

I would absolutely call the police--I'd straight up call 911. Those children could easily get VERY sick from being out in this sun and heat. With the humidity it feels like over 100 degrees!!

I agree you should call. Just walking 20 feet from my car to the office was uncomfortable. I felt like I was roasting! I can't imagine being outside in this for more than a couple of minutes.

These people need to be arrested for child abuse. If I see that, I'm calling 911. It's an emergency situation for those children. Bunch of scam artist garbage bags

I am not defending these people, but I highly doubt that CPS would get involved. I honestly don't think just bc children are outside today that it is child abuse. Though it the healthiest, they did have some form of hydration. If they were locked in a hot car, that's another story.
