For those who redid their kitchens - any advice on how to make living without a kitchen easier? Our project is going to take 6-8 weeks!!!

We are still going through this as my faucet is not hooked up.
We cooked in the toaster oven, microwave and take out alot. It is even harder with 2 kids.

i feel your pain, we wont have a kitchen for a longggg time

I plan on using our fridge, microwave, toasteroven, hotplate and foreman grille
plus take out and going out to eat

I think we will make it through, we dont have kids so i think it will be alot easier

also i am going to stock up on paper goods at BJ's cups, utensils, plates etc

We are living through this ourselves right now. We are DIY'ing a lot of it so it is taking a long time. We started Feb 17 but haven't had a real kitchen since early March!
I set up a temp kitchen in my laundry room - which has a sink thankfully. I have a card table with my microwave, crock pot, toaster and electric hot plate burner. We have our old fridge in the garage. Ia lso set up a drying rack on top of a box to put all the clean dishes. I took the bare minimum cooking utensils and pans and microwave cooking stuff and the rest is all in boxes in my spare bedroom. It also helps DD is only 10 mos old and mostly eats jarred baby food.
DH and I both work FT so we are not really home for lunch. Dinner I cook simple things, eat sandwhiches or soup or we order out.
It's a pain but doable - although at this point I am really looking forward ot it being done.
