So, there ARE some things I will do for love (and has anyone heard about this...is my life in danger lol)
my SIL gave me a pass for 4 to see a sneak preview of the new Hannah Montana movie today.
I am 3 of my nieces, which is so awesome, b/c today is one of the girls birthday.
we had to call to make a "reservation" but it also says "first come, first serve". I have to wait until they get out of school and then get up to Times Square....
I am sick, so it will PISS ME OFF to NO END if this is some sort of BS thing, and I have to tell the girls we won't be able to get in....
anyway...I am such a sucker. maybe disney is in my future Two full hours of Hannah montana in an enclosed space
so, has anyone else heard of this? is anyone going?

I've heard of this. How it works is a lot of times give more passes out than they can hold in the theatre.
You have to get there early and just stand in line and hope you get in.
Not sure how early people will be lining up -- what time does it start? I would think people would be lining up a couple hours beforehand.

i am envious.
As much as I *hate* going to kid movies with my son (aside from pixar/ dreamworks movies)... I always get a kick out of the ROARING laughter that comes from the audience if one of the character farts or something.

I think you should stand on line and have someone else bring them to you after school. I can't imagine people waiting until after school like you.
I remember when Jonas Brothers did the free show at Bryant Park the people and kids slept there three nights before.

Most people brought someone else so they always held their spot. Everyone on line was friends with everyone else so they would probably hold your spot anyway. Although that was a three night tour

I am kind of afraid of this too...i don't like to cut lines..but apparently it's "cool" since we have a reservation...

I know when I worked over by Nintendo and they were selling the Wii's... people were waiting on line and selling their spot behind them for $300-400. They weren't even selling the spot they were in, they were just making the line longer. Nobody could do anything about it.
