So since it seems I am the only person on the planet who doesn't wear skinny jeans...
...I have a question.
Do all of you ladies have skinny thighs?
Or at least thighs that are propotionate to the rest of your body?
Because no matter what I do, skinny jeans look horrible on me.
My thighs are larger than the rest of me.
So small waist, thicker thighs, tapering to a thin calf.
I always look like an upside down ice cream cone on my lower half
Am I chosing the wrong type of skinny jeans?
Or is it just that my body type is not meant for these kind of jeans?
I can't imagine I am the only person with larger thighs. Yet I seem to be the only person who won't wear skinny jeans.

I have the same problem as you. I can't wear skinny jeans either. They just don't look right on me.

I wear them and feel I have big thighs for the compared to the rest of me.
I think its not about if they look good on as much as you are not comfortable in them. I see plenty of girls on the street with them on and think they look good on them and they are not tiny girls.
We are harder on oursleves than others.

Big thighs but I wear them only with shirts long enough to cover them a bit.
I like how they look with uggs and riding boots or really any boots. its such a great look and while Im not a size zero, they work for me.

So since it seems I am the only person on the planet who doesn't wear skinny jeans...
I'm plus sized and the complete opposite of skinny but I wear skinny jeans. They're comfortable and they actually don't look too bad. I even have a pair of jeggings but I wear a longer shirt with those.
I get mine from Old Navy.
ETA: I feel good in them and to me, that's (pretty much) all that matters.

I think the key to wearing them is to balance them out so I usually wear a longer shirt and one that isn't too fitted and stick with dark colors.

My thighs and ass are by far the largest parts of me. I can still pull them off and I bet you can, too. Someone mentioned that they buy a pair that aren't "lycra tight"- I think that makes a big difference. I don't want my jeans to look painted on, plus they aren't comfortable like that. And I'm a big baby about being comfy.

Longer shirt and boots balance everything out.

No matter how skinny I am- my thighs are NEVER skinny
I see so many women on the street with these stick thin thighs- like their thighs are the same circumfrence as their calves- and I am like- Yeah I WISH!
Maybe I have to try the boots and the longer top
I also think it's me. I am very very self conscious about that area.
Totally my hang up

My thighs are muscular and my butt and hips are big in comparison to the rest of my body and I wear skinny jeans. I wear shorter shirts so they don't hit at my biggest part. I try not to have my shirt hem fall at my hips or upper thigh, because it draws attention to the wideness of my hips. I wear very long tunicy shirts, or shirts that hit about 3" below my belly button, but avoid the in-between.

I have very muscular thighs from running so many miles. For the longest time, I thought I would never wear skinny jeans. 2 or 3 years ago I tried on some from The Gap and fell in love. If you are concerned about your thighs, boots definitely balance everything out nicely!

I don't own skinny jeans and I have no intention of ever buying any. My butt and thighs are huge, and i know whats flattering and whats not. Nobody will ever convince me skinny jeans would look good on me. Same goes for leggings btw!!
I'll stick with my boot cuts, thank you!

I'm not exactly happy with my thighs but they are not very big in proportion to the rest of me. I am a short girl who has long legs for her body. Skinny jeans accentuate that but I am happy to accentuate long legs. I think that skinny jeans look good on some girls who say they don't, though.

I know how you feel. I go for jeans that are snug from waist to knee and then bootcut for the lower legs. I think it balances me better than a skinny jean would.

This is me. I am petite and thin but have larger thighs and a big ole booty. I hate my thighs as well. I do wear skinny jeans and leggings. I find Anerican Eagle and Gap fit me nice for a more affordable jean. 7 jeans are my absolute fave though.

I bought a pair simply because I felt like a loser lol. Wore them twice.
I still love my slightly flared/boot cut jeans and won't give them up. I like the way skinny jeans look on many people with boots BUT my thighs are the opposite of skinny. I will stick with what I'm used too and what I feel works best with my body.
