So nervous and scared and excited

Ok, I spent the weekend sending out 47 resumes. I got a response today. Principal left a voicemail for a possible position, and is looking to interview tomorrow. Said to leave a voicemail for her and she would check it in the morning. Problem is, I work until 4:30. I called my supervisor, who is so supportive, and she was able to find coverage for my last class of the day (I'm a Gymboree teacher until I go back to my perm. sub job in the fall).

So I left a message stating that normally on Wednesdays I work until 4:30. I was able to find someone to cover my last class so I would be available after 2 p.m. I also mentioned that I was available all Thursday (which I am). My manager said to explain the situation so she knows I'm not just leaving my job high and dry.

So now I'm scared. I said I was very interested about three times, I also am not entirely sure I left my cell phone number. I feel like an idiot. I want a job so badly, and I feel like I'm finally getting some calls and I'm the type of person to panic about everything. I have my suit ready to change into.

I'm sorry, I just needed to vent. I hope I didn't sound too needy on the message, I'm starting to get depressed about not having my own classroom. I have barely gotten responses to the huge amount of resumes, so this is progress to me.

Oh hun I KNOW that feeling, you dont want to sound over-eager but you can't help it...Hopefully if you didnt leave your phone number you left your name. If it was a cell phone you called she prob got the number anyways but if not if you hadnt recieved a call by 11-12ish give them a call again!
