So much for trying to be nice by donating my cord blood...
DH and I wanted to donate the cord blood to the hospital I'm delivering at. I just called to set it up and found out that my Dr. is one of the few Dr's that CHARGES me to do this! $300. What the hell! So much for trying to do something nice....ugh. Vent over.

my OB charges for collecting as well - no matter who I send the cord blood to.

Mine too. I thought it was standard practice to be charged extra for this.
