I was really disappointed!!

I felt like I could buy everything on sale or find it in Marshalls.

I requested one more stitch for May so I will see then.

sorry to hear you were disappointed! i think the thing that makes me never be really disappointed is that i would never shop - i never go to marshall's (or any other store lol) or shop sales to find good deals. I just don't shop, period. Like really ever. So for me having stuff handed to me is worth it! And I have really no shopping in store experience to compare it to Chat Icon

Ugh, that sucks. Did you take any pics? Keep anything?
I have my 1st one scheduled for the end of May and I hope I like it.

I always think this when I see all the posts.

Obviously it's not my thing. But seems to be a big hit with others.

Me either. I saw my friends fix and it was eh. the clothes aren't anything special. I think the girls who have posted the clothes on here look cute and some of the stuff is nice but i felt like i was the only one who thought to myself "just saw that at marshalls or kohls for less than $20".

It's the intrigue...the idea of a stylist picking things, having it sent to your door etc..The concept is GENIUS. But I don't think most of the clothing deserves the pricetag it is given. JMHO

I am the same way! There is nothing more distracting than trying on clothes and looking in the mirror and going- YIKES I look awful!
Makes me want to walk out and not buy a thing.
Having your hair and makeup done when you shop really helps the whole experience!
Off topic, I know but since you mentioned it... Chat Icon

I didn't keep anything because it really wasn't worth the money.

This dress was $128 which wasn't a bad price, but was big on me and HATE color blocking on me.

this shirt was $48..I have seen similar stuff in Marshalls External Image

Rizzo Ponte Pants $88..really just thick leggings with stitching to look like pockets

Splendid cardigan was $58 or $68 I think and the color I got was gray. I already have something similar.

Then a square scarf that was aqua with a patter and it had tiny pink pom poms on the edges. That was $48 and its as cute but I bought the same scarf for my niece at Aeropastle durning Christmas for I think $18.

I have to say. Those pants look very similar to my black denim leggings from Target that I paid like $26 for.
Totally not worth $88!

I have a pair from American Eagle and I didn't pay $88.

I think it is great for people who don't have time to shop or even want to try and step out of there comfort zone and that is what I was looking for.

When I see the price tags attached to most of the pieces I'm blown away!Chat Icon

I also feel like I'd just acquire a big drawer of clothes that I'm 'schmeh' about.

I've been debating for a while whether I want to try Stitchfix, and this re-affirmed why I keep hesitating. Thank you for sharing your fix!

From what I have seen, none of their clothes are my style at all. That is why I wouldn't sign up.

I'm sorry! Unfortunately this has been my experience with my last 2 fixes. My first one was awesome and I kept everything. But since then I've returned everything. I'm hesitant to try again... Chat Icon

I haven't been to crazy about my fixes but had to add, I purchased these and (to me) they were totally worth the $88. Best pair of pants i've purchased in ages. They are made well, cut nicely and a lot dressier than regular leggings. I wear them with dressier shirts/blazers. They are beyond comfy but don't make me feel like i'm wearing leggings. I'm totally in love with them.

Me too. But I do know they are supposed to adjust based on your preferences, but that seems hit or miss.

The idea of clothes just showing up at my door is tempting though.

That's exactly how I feel about my Target ones.
Much dressier than "leggings" and I have never ever found jeans that fit me right and didn't flatten my @ss and these fit and look incredible.
