So DS had his evaluation today (transition from EI to CPSE at 3rd birthday)...
Not sure whether he's going to qualify or not  but dang that was a LONG morning of testing!!! Pretty redundant (he got evaluation by the Special Instruction, Speech, and Psychological professionals).
He did Reeeeeeeally well but by the 3rd hour he was getting pretty flaky, much of the "testing" was redundant so to him, I'm sure he was wondering WHY DO THESE PEOPLE KEEP ASKING ME WHAT THESE PICTURES ARE  hahahahaha.
And we had a giggle when the psych lady asked me "Any family history of mental/academic/delay issues???" To which I answered "No not really? Well, not diagnosed. I'm pretty sure my husband has ADD. But don't all wives think their husbands have ADD?" 
So now, we wait to see what the report concludes and whether or not he qualifies for services after his b-day in September!!!

Aww...poor kid probably wanted to throw something at those people!
I think it's a fact that all DHs have ADD!

I said something similar when they asked if DS responds to requests...I said about 20% of the time, same as DH. 
He deserves some ice cream after that morning! I'm sure they all saw what a smart cookie he is!

I hope you guys get whatever outcome you're hoping for.  I'm sure Shane did great though!
I'm dreading this in a few months for my shane, just for the same reason, i heard its a long morning.

Good luck to Shane! I'm sure he would've much rather been chillin' with the peeps in the toddler park then get tested today.  I'm sure you rewarded him appropriately since you are an awesome mommy!

Good Luck Shane. Nina was so annoyed at her CPSE eval with the pictures LOL then she was upset because the one picture of the boy crying LMAO she asked for 10 minutes "why is boy sad?". It is a long day for the little folk but so worth it.
